Doors affording more space

The BOTHE-HILD overhead folding door is the ideal solution for building areas where the entire room height is required - which for example is often the case at vehicle hoists - or to optimise given constructional conditions. The rather small deflection depth is especially convenient in halls with domelights, glass roofs and -facades. By all means, the incidence of light and the view remain totally unaffected.

Design and construction of the type 46 ADF correspond to the BOTHE-HILD sectional door made of aluminium.

Despite of different technics, an optically nearly identical door front can be afforded at each building. The door leaf is sectioned in 4 or 6 horizontal sections which are linked together by special hinges. On every second section, the hinges are fixed outside. The construction depth of the extruded aluminium hollow profiles amounts 46 mm.

At least, the profiles are 2 mm thick and possess additional reinforcements in the loaded areas. Inside the fillings are held by PVC terminal strips and outside are sealed up by UV-resistant three-lipped rubber profiles.

The overhead folding door is electrically powered and is forwarded into the desired position under the roof by galvanised steel ropes which are coiling on the barrels. The galvanised guide rails are welded with the door frame which simultaneously serves as fitting frame.

As desired, single and double glazings with plastic panes or special glazings are available. They do not steam up, are scratch-resistant, camber-free, burglary-resistant and noise-insulated. Also available are closed fillings.

A three-side circumferential sealing and a hollow chamber profile at the bottom section provide a safe door sealing.
